I’m sure that all of us have heard about healthy foods, specifically about food that promise one of the following things: “it will help you lose weight,” “they can make you smarter,” “eating this can help you burn more calories faster.”  Even terms like “All-Natural,” “Oven-Fresh,” “Organic,” can be a bit confusing to the average consumer.  But don’t get frustrated – let me help you walk through the main pitfalls that ensnare the unsuspecting shopper.  There are lots of different options for protein shake recipes that are called organic as well.

I’m sure that we have all seen and maybe even dabbled in a fad diet or two, but the majority of us always fall off the supposed band wagon after the first few weeks.  And it’s easy to understand why, when manufacturers promise things like weight loss from certain foods or certain methods of eating.  People can’t lose weight from food alone, but rather the most success comes from both healthy diet and exercise.  If you teach yourself the content of what you eat (like how many calories in a banana) and switching to low calorie alcoholic drinks you can really start to lose some weight.

Room temperature: Adjust the temperature to make you feel comfortable, it should not be too hot or too cold.

Meals: avoid having a large dinner just before going to sleep. Eat a few hours before to allow the food to digest. Have a glass of warm milk at bedtime, the calcium in the milk will calm and relax you.

Exercise: it will de- stress and relax you and make you feel tired which will induce sleep.
