Make Sure You’re Sprinkling Correctly
When you start the SENSA® program, you will receive two containers, one that that you take with you everywhere you go and one that you keep at home. Each container has two openings, one labeled “Salty,” and the second labeled “Sweet.” To maximize the weight-loss program, it’s important to use the right side for certain foods. Use the “Salty” crystals (or Tastants) on all salty foods, from eggs and bacon to sandwiches, pasta, and veggies. You should also use the “Salty” Tastants on salty snacks, such as chips and pretzels. The “Sweet” Tastants should be used on everything sweet, from pancakes and cereal to pastries and cookies. Make sure to use the “Sweet” Tastants on fruit, too. Using the right set of Tastants will ensure that your senses receive the right group of crystals, keeping your fuller and more satisfied.
Get Creative with SENSA®
Certain foods are harder to sprinkle on than others. For these foods, it helps to get a little creative when using SENSA®. For example, some foods such as grapes and berries might require a light sprinkle of water before using SENSA®. A light sprinkle of water will help SENSA® Advanced stick to the foods. What about certain food in bags, such as chips and pretzels? To make things easy, simply shake SENSA® into the bag. You can also place some chips on a plate and shake SENSA® on the chips directly. When using SENSA® on foods such as burritos and burgers, you don’t have to take the food apart. For these foods, shake SENSA® on the outer layer of the food. While it’s okay to shake SENSA® on chili and hearty soups, you don’t have to use it on liquids such as soda or juice. Using SENSA® on liquids will only saturate the sprinkles.
